Time spares no one! Those whom we met as strapping, diminutive, self-cautious self effacing young lads became weather-hardened soldiers, grew in hierarchy, did command and staff tenures and many even joined the troops in many operations and had their tryst with guns, fires and blood! Many of the course-mates won laurels and awards for bravery and for outstanding service to the nation.

Those who left Army after completing their initial period of service, smoothly joined Corporate world as took the transformation as fish takes to water. They also attained glories and celestial heights! Their name and fame reached global level of recognition.

Now most of us are old and definitely look old, some are looking frail and delicate and yet some are evergreen! All of us aged gracefully and gainfully and have now that laid-back smugness in our attitude and style which becomes to only those who lived their lives meaningfully and served the nation dutifully.
